Why the change? Prior to the pandemic, all People Next Door contest submissions were exhibited in gallery space at Temple Beth-El in downtown South Bend. In February of 2023, the Temple Beth-El congregation finalized a decision to relocate from their home of seven decades to a new home in April 2023. 

Because our previous gallery space is no longer available, the Simon Foundation for Holocaust Remembrance is grateful that the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library has stepped up to serve as the 2023 home for The People Next Door in-person exhibition. 

Contest organizers have worked quickly to adjust to this late-breaking development, and we appreciate your flexibility and understanding. 

Watch for more information. After online submission, contest entrants will receive information about in-person exhibition via email. All entrants, friends, and family are invited to attend the Award Reception and Exhibition Opening.
